Yes, it's Disneyland again. What can I say? We love this place!
Confessions of a Supernanny
From 9 to 5, I am supernanny. Nosy Nora, Lulu and I play, learn, sing, sleep, eat, create and at the end of the day, I hand them back over to mom and dad and head home to my husband and our quiet, kid-free (for now) house. The purpose of this blog is to chronicle our daily adventures, tidbits and learning activities.

Home Preschool
Nosy Nora will be turning 3 in November, so I think it's time to start some more formal learning. She is a pretty smart kiddo already, (thanks to her supernanny I am sure! hahaha) her vocabulary is amazing, she knows all the colors, most shapes, numbers to 20, can recognize all letters of the alphabet, animals, body parts and more. I will be starting a Letter of the Week curriculum from Confessions of a Homeschooler you can download each letter for free, or the entire program for $10.00. Alongside this curriculum, I will continue Tot School until she outgrows those activities, and I will be adding my own ideas into the mix.
We started with the letter "A" and joined my friend Carrie over at The Instant Family she is homeschooling her older son, so she has a great classroom for the kids to work in. And for Nosy Nora, the highlight is playing with her daughter and the dress up clothes after school is done! We had a great time, she is a wonderful host.
Activities: reading books about apples, tracing the letter "A", letter "A" dot a dot, making apple trees, and apple prints (from No Time for Flashcards), eating homemade applesauce (Yummy!).
As you can see, Lulu is really excited about school! I guess it makes it easier to help Nosy Nora if Lulu just sleeps the whole time :) We are definitely looking forward to more school with Carrie and her kiddos.

Disneyland
We are sooooo spoiled to live only minutes away from the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland! I have to confess, that we go at least once a month, if not more. I have an annual pass and Nosy Nora is still free, so it is a great cheap outing. We have lots of friends with passes as well, so we often meet up with them. It's always a fun day, and I love seeing the park through a toddler's eyes. You're only a kid once right? So, might as well live it up!
